Take a look at your regular activities before you go to sleep. Some mood restorers are going to work quite well. These can include spending time with a friend or with your partner. They can also include having a relaxing bath or even a favorite cup of tea. You need to do something that will put you in a good mood.

This is easier said than done, but it is important to control your arguments. These can really end up setting your mood off. What you will need to do is make sure to walk out of an argument if it hits three “volleys”. Volleys are essentially when people start shouting things back to one another, and making new points in the argument. You need to make sure that you walk away after the third one. This will give you a little time to calm down. While it can be difficult, it will make a huge difference to your overall mood.

  • Impulses

Your impulses are also going to affect your mood, so make sure to consider your impulse before you decide to act on it. Most people are going to give themselves two days before they decide whether or not they will act on a specific impulse. Leaving two days is going to give you enough time to think things over and ensure that you do not make any further mistakes.Your mood is a fickle thing, but these tips can help you considerably.
